Alecsander Kohn, Esq.
Alecsander (“Alec”) Kohn is an experienced trial attorney at Weil Law Firm with significant courtroom and leadership experience. He began his legal career at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted a wide range of felony cases, from narcotics offenses to violent crimes. Rising quickly through the office, he was appointed Assistant Chief of the Crimes Unit, supervising more than 40 attorneys and securing victories in cases of considerable public and media interest.
He has tried more than a dozen cases to verdict—including both jury and bench trials—earning recognition for his trial strategy and ability to perform under pressure. He focuses his practice on advising and representing businesses and individuals in high-stakes legal disputes.

Alec’s work has been recognized with honors including the HERO Award from the City of Miami Police Department. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and received the CALI Award in Criminal Evidence. Originally from Southern California, he graduated magna cum laude from Chapman University, where he also played varsity football and was honored as an All-Conference and Offensive Lineman of the Year. He speaks Spanish with working proficiency.
