Miami Art Gallery Sues $1B Brickell City Centre Project Over Safety and Property Damage Concerns

A Miami art gallery and framing shop has taken legal action against the developers of the massive $1 billion Brickell City Centre project, alleging that construction activities have caused structural damage, safety hazards, and disruption to its business. Frame Art Inc. and its owner, Graciella Juelle Zayden, have filed a lawsuit against Swire Properties, Turner Construction, and Maxim Crane Works, citing falling debris, intense vibrations, and crane operations over their property. The lawsuit seeks an injunction to prevent further damage, access to engineering studies, and potential compensation, as concerns mount over the impact of the high-rise development on neighboring businesses.
