Miami Heat President and Real Estate Broker Settle Lawsuit Mid-Trial

 

Miami Heat President Pat Riley reached a confidential settlement with real estate broker Randy Hill while the jury deliberated in a lawsuit over alleged unpaid commissions. Hill, represented by attorney Ron Weil, claimed Riley owed him millions under an oral agreement for brokering a Fort Myers land deal. Weil argued Hill was entitled to compensation, while Riley’s defense maintained no such contract existed. The settlement ended a contentious trial, avoiding a jury verdict on the dispute.
